Python Job: Python Developer

• 
  Be the first point of contact for user issue resolution. It entails prioritisation of demand and identifying what is important for the business.
• Develop application changes both from RAD perspective (Python) and VB, VBA
• Knowledge of build pipelines (TFS/Jenkins/OpenShift etc)
• Excellent communication and user facing skills. Analytical ability to investigate issues, and to instigate or coordinate towards resolution.
• Continuous improvement mindset. Person needs to be pro-active in helping to move our processes forward, needs to understand Dev best practice and seek to ensure we are class leading in our Build and deployment processes.
• Work in an Agile, business facing development team to build,

develop and operate applications tools. The teams are multifunctional

and includes .NET and Java Developers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, etc.

• Work within a Scrum team, resolve conflicts and promote creative, high quality development within a collaborative team environment.
• Care deeply about the technical side of operations to help

ensure smooth running for our application portfolio.

• Work closely with product owners, and all stakeholders, to agree project

objectives and ensure effective and efficient implementation of

features and applications.

• Enjoy working within a dynamic technical landscape comprising

legacy monoliths to microservices in cloud platforms.

• Understand, appreciate, and follow the Scrum framework.

  Degree educated or equivalent

• 
  Practical experience working with business stakeholders, with the ability to go from verbal description, to prototype, to final deliverable, iterating as necessary

• Experience of Agile SDLCs, particularly Scrum and Kanban
• Experience of working as part of a team that promotes positive

collaboration to achieve shared goals

• Deep understanding of messaging systems and protocols such as SOAP, REST, HTTP, TCP, Kafka.
• Experience in data analysis using Python (Pandas and NumPy)
• Good to have – Experience in developing UI dashboards using Plotly Dash
• Experience of developing and maintaining complex Excel models (complex formulas and VBA)
